Firefighters rescue dog trapped inside house fire
FIREFIGHTERS saved a dog that was trapped inside a burning house.
Crews from Colne were called to Alkincoats Road at around 6pm on Thursday following reports of a fire inside a home.
Two fire engines attended, and firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
A dog was rescued from the property.
