Major road closed as police deal with serious accident
A MAJOR road into Blackburn has reopened following a serious accident this morning.
The A59 Preston New Road at Samlesbury near to the Mercure Hotel was closed at around 9.30am following the incident.
Officers have now confirmed that the road has reopened and traffic flow is returning to normal.
