TWO people have been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a house.
The fire service were called to a house on Elgar Close, in Blackburn, at 10.32pm on Thursday.
Three crews from Blackburn and Darwen used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to put out the fire.
A fire service spokesman said: "Two fire engines from Blackburn and one from Darwen were called to a house fire on Elgar Close, Blackburn. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Two casualties were treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation."
