A MINI Cooper was set on fire in a suspected arson attack.
The blue mini caught fire in Chester Street, Accrington, at around 1am today.
The fire, which had spread to a nearby fence, is being treated as deliberate
Acting crew manager Damian Stewart, of Hyndburn fire station, said: "One crew from Hyndburn was called to the fire involving a blue Mini Cooper in Chester Street, Accrington.
"The fire had spread on to a fence.
"We used a hose reel to put out the fire within about 45 minutes.
"The car and fence had been left badly damaged.
"The fire is being treated as suspicious in nature.

An investigation by police into the suspected arson attack is now underway, he added.
