Appeal launched after person hit by car
AN APPEAL has been launched after a pedestrian was hit by a car this afternoon.
Officers are urging anyone who was in the Whitewalls Drive area in Colne at around 2.40pm today to check any dashcam footage or step forward if they witnessed the accident.
The spokesman said: "Police are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision occurred along Whitewalls Drive, Colne today the 17th August 2019 at approximately 14:43 hours.
"It is reported that a vehicle has hit a pedestrian. If you witnessed or have dash cam footage of this accident, please could we ask you contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log reference 0887 of the 17th August 2019."
