TRAFFIC flow has now returned to normal on a busy motorway following major delays this morning.
A jackknifed lorry on the M61 Southbound, between Botany Bay and the Rivington Services, caused the closure of a lane as emergency services dealt with the incident.
Police and highways officers were at the scene, where the lane had been closed off between junctions six and eight.
The road was fully re-opened at around 8.15am this morning.
