Bubbles Play Centre, Oswaldtwistle

If the kids love to bounce, climb and slide around then look no further than the Bubbles Play Centre. Situated in Oswaldtwistle Mills, Colliers Street, the play area offers a generous three levels of ball pools and tunnels for kids ages 0-8. If running around is less than appealing, especially for those parents, there are colouring tables and arcade machines to give the kids a boost of entertainment. Admission is £3.45 or less, depending on the age of the child and is open from 9.30-5 Monday to Saturday, and 10.30-4.50pm on Sundays.

Adventure City, Accrington

With a rating of 4.8 out of 5 on Facebook, Adventure City is somewhere that the kids, and their families, will love. A recent review highly recommending the indoor play centre also commented on the ‘fab food’ and ‘amazing party hostesses’, meaning the families are just as well catered for as the little ones. You can visit the play area at the popular Hyndburn Leisure Centre in Accrington from 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 5pm at weekends.

Runamok, Haslingden

The 8,000 check-ins prove that Runamok is a big hit with families and their kids. The play centre, on Carrs Industrial Estate, Haslingden, provides the perfect day out, especially in the rain. One review called it a ‘great visit on a wet day’. No surprise, as it comes in 3rd place on Tripadvisor’s ‘Things to do in Haslingden’. Hours are open 9.30 am - 6pm, with more information available from their Facebook page.

Leisure Box, Brierfield

The Leisure Box in Brierfield have mastered the act of getting families on board, welcoming people in with free entry during term time. Clearly a big hit with local people, it’s highly reviewed at 4.8 / 5 on Google, offering a toddler play area, climbing wall, dance studio and space for birthdays. It’s based at the iconic Northlight site in Brierfield and has tickets for as low as £4.50 per child.

Happy Daze, Darwen

Since 2016, Happy Daze claims to be a hub of all things fun and entertaining for young children. With three tiers of soft play and a safe section for under-4s, parents can relax knowing their children are playing in safe hands. Described as “spot on” in a recent review, it’s no surprise Happy Daze is a popular spot for families. Located at Taylor Street, Darwen, tickets are an affordable £3-4. Happy days.
