POLICE were called after pub-goers witnessed a man being glassed in a Barrow venue.
A 999 call was made on Friday at around 6pm after drinkers inside the Furness Railway reportedly saw a fight break out between up to four men.
One eye-witness alleged one of the men was hit over the head with a glass.
Police said that when officers arrived at the pub those involved in the incident had left the scene.
