CONSULTANCY firm RSM finished fourth in the Dragon Boat Regatta on Lake Windermere to raise almost £3,000 for charities.
A team of 17 people from RSM competed against fourteen other teams on July 7; and came fourth overall, after winning two heats. The team raised money for Paddlers for Life, Friends of Chernobyl’s Children, and Cumbria-Rungwe Community Link.
Richard Arnott, team captain and director at RSM, said: "It was great to take part in this year’s Dragon Boat Regatta.
"We had a great team of colleagues and clients who put their all into training and the races on the day, which has been a lot of fun.
"We are proud to be supporting the important work that Friends of Chernobyl’s Children, Paddlers for Life and Cumbria-Rungwe Community Link deliver; and we are committed to raising as much money as possible for these three great causes."
Paddlers for Life, Friends of Chernobyl’s Children, and Cumbria-Rungwe Community Link each provide much needed support to people in need, locally and in Tanzania and Belarus.
