A MAN has been given a 12-month drug rehabilitation requirement after admitting to being concerned in the production of cannabis.

Burnley Magistrates Court heard how Daniel Leighton, 48, of Manchester Road, Burnley, committed the offence in the town on February 19.

Leighton was fined £120, with £85 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the associated cannabis plants and equipment.
