BRITAIN in Bloom judges visited Barnoldswick and took a tour of the town's floral attractions.
Alan Hulme and Stephen Lowe met bloom members and town organisations during the judging.
Cllr David Whipp, the Barnoldswick in Bloom coordinator, said: "As ever, the judges weren't giving anything away.
"But they were obviously impressed with displays in the town.
"We'll have to wait until autumn before we get the results of the judging, but we can enjoy all the floral features in the meantime."
The tour included a visit to the town's primary schools, The Rainhall Centre and new sensory garden in Kelbrook Road.
Cllr Whipp said: "The theme of this year's bloom displays is a call for action on the climate crisis.
"Our massive sea wall is a plea for no plastic to go into the oceans.
"We hope we can raise awareness of the crisis and stimulate more people to take action before it is too late.
"We think the judges got the message during their visit."
