A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital in a 'critical condition' following a crash with a car over the weekend.
At around 3.07pm on Saturday (June 15) a motorcyclist, carrying a passenger onboard, became involved in a collision with a car on the A6108 at Downholme Bridge, near Richmond in North Yorkshire.
The motoryclist was taken to hospital in a 'critical condition', while the passenger was treated at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours to allow the emergency services deal with the crash.
It is understood the driver of the car was uninjured.
