A THIRD Yellow Warning of heavy rain problems has been issued by the Met Office.
Only yesterday (Monday) two yellow alerts were issued covering Monday afternoon and Wednesday night until noon on Thursday.
As the wretched weather continues the Met office this morning issued the third alert covering Powys this afternoon until midnight.
A spokesperson said: "There is a chance that heavy prolonged rainfall could lead to local flooding and disruption to transport.
"Further spells of rain, heavy at times, will continue to affect parts of England and Wales during Tuesday, reaching more of northeast England later in the day.
"A further 10-25 mm may fall quite widely, with some areas potentially seeing up to 60 mm. Much of this may fall in 6-12 hours. The rain will be accompanied by strong northeasterly winds in places."
What to expect
• Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
• Where flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services
• There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings
• There is a small chance that some communities become cut off by flooded roads
