A PARKING warden was left "shocked" after being threatened and sworn at by a driver parked illegally in a city centre disabled bay, and now Wiltshire Police want to find him.

At around 9.45am on May 11, the enforcement officer approached the driver of a silver car, which was parked in the Salisbury Market Square bay.

But when he challenged him, the officer was verbally abused and threatened.

The suspect continued to shout and swear at the victim before driving off.

Regarding the incident, PC Dave Jones said: "The victim was understandably shocked and upset by the actions of this man. I would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident, it was a market day so there will have been a number of people in the area at the time."

Officers add that CCTV analysis has been completed.
