A MAN was taken to hospital after a motorbike and a car crashed.
Officers were called to Roundhill Road in Haslingden after the bike and a Mini crashed at around 8.25am yesterday.
Police said it is believed a white van, possibly a Ford or Citroen, travelling on the opposite side of the road was carrying out an overtaking manoeuvre shortly before the crash.
The van did not stop at the scene and police are trying to trace the driver.
The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
The road was closed for around 90 minutes.
PC Anthony Beckett said: "This incident occurred at rush hour and we know the area would have been busy.
"Did you see the collision or a van matching the description around the time? We need to hear from you.
"If you were the driver of the van, please come forward."
Anyone with information should call 101 quoting log number 310 of May 16.
