A MAN thrown out of an Accrington pub was seen by police urinating against a parked car.

Blackburn magistrates heard two weeks later Farakh Khalid was again drunk when he went into a chippy on York Street and started shouting and swearing at staff.

Khalid, 31, of Whalley Road, Accrington, pleaded guilty to two charges of being drunk and disorderly, firstly on April 3 and then on April 16.

He was given a conditional discharge for two years and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Ben Leach, defending, said his client had been through a period of abstinence but had slipped off the waggon.

"On the second occasion he realised he had drunk too much and was walking the streets trying to sober up before he went home to his wife," said Mr Leach.
