SUEDE guitarist Richard Oakes will be returning to Blackburn with his ‘other’ project Artmagic.
Richard and vocalist Sean McGhee will play the Electric Church as part of their first UK tour for seven years as they celebrate their first album since 2012, The Songs Of Other England.
The album blends Oakes’ urgent guitars with McGhee’s folk-inflected character sketches and wide melodies.
Producer and vocalist Sean McGhee was musical director for Alison Moyet participating in two world tours and co-writing the two singles from her 2017 top 20 album Other.
The intimate show as a duo comes just a month after Suede played King George’s Hall.
