THIS picture taken in the early 1900s shows Blackburn Cathedral.
The cathedral remains a prominent landmark in the town to this day and dates back to 1826.
The image, from the Lancashire Telegraph's archives, also shows the statue of William Gladstone which has since moved to Northgate.
