THE Ribble Valley's Stonyhurst College will host part of The Great British Food Festival over the August Bank Holiday.
The summer culinary extravaganza will visit the 225-year-old independent school near Clitheroe for three days at the end of the summer.
It is one of 13 venues around the UK to host the festival over the summer.
The line-up includes over eighty Best of British producers and street food vendors, celebrity chef demos, talks, kids cookery lessons, great live music, a ‘Cake Off’ competition and ‘Men v Food’ challenges, and a new BBQ stage.
The Stonyhurst event from August 24 to 26 is a regular feature of the festival's annual calendar and will highlight Lancashire producers.
Dan Maycock, Great British Food Festival director, said: “We’re thrilled to be back at Stonyhurst, it’s always a lovely event, with a great crowd."
