A MAN has been taken to hospital with head injuries and a suspected back fracture after the car he was driving crashed into a tree and overturned.
The driver, a man in his 30s, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital after the accident on Salterforth Road, Earby, which occurred at 4.05pm on April 13.
A police spokesman has said that while the man remains in hospital, his injuries are not believed to be as serious as first thought.
An appeal for information has now been launched.
Sgt Michael Higginson, of the Lancashire Police TacOps Unit, said: “We are in the process of piecing together exactly what occurred and would like to hear from anybody who saw this incident or who has information about it.”
