A SHOPPING centre was evacuated after a fire alarm sounded at KFC.
Shoppers stood outside Blackburn Mall as they waited for the alarm to stop, which was due to KFC'S alarm being set off.
Blackburn Fire Service attended the scene and were there for no longer than thirty minutes ensuring the Mall was safe for people to re-enter.
It was not suspected to be a fire, but simply due to smoke setting off the shop's new alarm.
A spokesman for Blackburn Fire Service said: "It's not anything too serious. It is most likely smoke that has set an alarm off, nothing for anyone to worry about."
