Tina Philip has spoken about her upcoming Star Plus show ‘Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna'.

Tina became one of the few British Asians to make it in Indian television when she appeared in the TV soap ‘Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee’ in 2017.

Indian dramas continue to outstrip many films in popularity in India with millions tuning on a daily basis to follow the plot lines.

Speaking to Asian Image this weekend she said, “I’m both excited and proud to be part of Star Plus again. It feels like home ground.

“Star Plus is the number one Asian channel in the UK as well as India and I couldn’t have got a better platform for my second show.

“As you can see in the promo my character Ishani is all set to get married to Kabir ( played by Zain Imam). However her sister has a hidden agenda. The show is about perception and raises the question and do people only show one side of who they are?”

She said was loved living in Mumbai, “It’s a buzzing city with people from all over the world. I live close to the beach and enjoy spending my time there whenever I get some time off.

“This city has something to give to everyone including myself. I’m very grateful for all the opportunities I’ve got so far.

“Lastly I’ll do the typical British thing and talk about the weather- I love the sun and it’s always bright and sunny in Mumbai.”

‘Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna' will air from 22 April at 7pm in India and 6:30pm in the UK.
