A CARE home has been rated ‘good’ by health and social care watchdog the Care Quality Commission.
Holme Manor Care Home, Rawtenstall, was rated ‘good’ in all five key areas of safety, effectiveness, responsiveness, leadership and the caring nature of the service.
The home currently provides accommodation for 29 older people and those living with dementia.
Ryan Godwin, owner of the care home, said: “We’re delighted that our high standards our reflected by the CQC in receiving a good rating.
“It’s a great accolade and it’s great that we managed to get a good rating in all areas which we also achieved in our last inspection.
“We’re very happy.”
In its report, inspectors said: “People made positive comments about the caring attitude of staff. They said their privacy and dignity was respected. We observed staff interacting with people in a kind, pleasant and friendly manner. Staff were respectful of people’s choices and opinions.”
