Fog has come down across the area this morning
Fog has affected a number of roads across the area this morning.
Conditions were particularly bad on the M6 around junction 38 at Shap.
The A592 close to Townhead Brow in Troutbeck was also badly affected with some traffic delays resulting, and fog has also made driving difficult on a number of minor roads.
Cumbria Police warned drivers to take extra care until conditions improve, as they are expected to do later in the day.
