MOST people will only see Bury from the ground.
But thanks to the scope of Google Earth, you don't have to leave your armchair to enjoy these incredible views of some of the town's most famous landmarks.
The latest Google Earth pictures are a mixture of general photographs, aerial shots and satellite imagery mapping the town in 3D.
The Bury Times has reproduced a selection of these pictures, including views of Bury Parish Church, Bury Market, Radcliffe Tower and even Gigg Lane.
Not everything is part of this 3D matrix, with some landmarks such as Holcombe Hill not yet available.
To explore the town on your own, or look at other parts of the world, visit: earth.google.com/web/.
