REALITY television star Olivia Attwood - partner of Rovers forward Bradley Dack - has spoken of her heartbreak after the shock death of her former Love Island friend Mike Thalassitis.

Olivia shared a broken heart emoji to her Twitter page and posted a photo of herself with Mike on Instagram writing: "Literally don't know what to say. Another one gone too young.

"Thinking of Mike's family and friends at this horrendous time. You will be missed terribly."

Lancashire Telegraph:

Olivia briefly 'dated' Mike on the show before getting back together with contestant Chris Hughes.

She stayed with Chris after the show for a few months before rekindling her romance with Rovers star Bradley, whom she had been with before Love Island. The couple now live together in Manchester.

Mike Thalassitis was found hanged in a park in Edmonton on Saturday.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to a park near Latymer Way, N9 at 0928hrs on Saturday, March 16 to reports of a man found hanged.

"Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, aged in his 20s, deceased.

"At this early stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious.

"Police are in the process of informing the man's next of kin. A file will be prepared for the coroner."

Tributes have been left outside the cafe the star, 26, planned to open.

Four bunches of flowers and a card were place at the door to the business, The Skillett, in Loughton, Essex, on Sunday.

The interior of the unit, on a small row of shops, appeared to be midway through a refurbishment.
