SILVERDALE WI is proposing Fairtrade status for the village.
The idea is on the agenda for tonight's Silverdale annual parish meeting at the Gaskell Hall's main room, at 7.30pm.
The event is open to the public and will also hear reports from RSPB Leighton Moss, Lancashire's library manager and Sgt Lindsay Brown of Lancashire Police.
