CONCERNS are mounting over the illegal use of mini-motorbikes, quadbikes and off-road vehicles on roads across East Lancashire.
Hyndburn police issued a statement over the weekend asking the public for help in getting the illegal bikes off the road.
It comes as officers revealed there was a growing problem with the anti-social use of bikes and quads across the borough.
A police spokesman said: “Mini Moto, off road and quad bikes are becoming a major issue across Hyndburn.
“We need the public’s help in getting them off the roads before someone is seriously hurt, or worse.
“We all have a responsibility. If you have any information please contact the police.”
Officers also warned that anyone using motor vehicles in an anti-social manor could face having their bikes seized and licenses revoked.
