THIS picture shows the delighted little cat Snowy, who was saved from being a stray at a card manufacturers.

More than 100 employees signed a petition to save the cat after the health and safety committee at greeting cards manufacturers Joseph Arnold Ltd in Blackburn decided the invasion of stray cats was a danger and they had to go.

Cat lover Mavis Turner, who worked in the finishing department launched a petition, which was successful. Snowy was then taken into protective custody at Turner's house in Hapton, Burnley until she would take her to the RSPCA.

Snowy had roamed the factory for 13 years.
