POLICE are asking for the public's help in finding a wanted sex offender.

Mohammed Emdad Ali was last seen at Royal Blackburn Hospital today.

Police said the 30-year-old is wanted for breaching the notification requirements of his sexual harm prevention order.

Ali, who was convicted of sexual touching in 2012, has links to both Burnley and Chorley.

The public is warned not to approach Ali but to report sightings of him to the police.

Insp Dave Clark said: “Ali is wanted by police after breaching the terms of his sex offender prevention order.

“I would urge anyone who sees him not to approach him but instead contact police.

“Furthermore I would encourage him, if he sees this appeal, to come forward and contact officers.”

Ali is described as Asian, 5ft 11ins, of a slim build and was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, a grey zip-up jumper and dark jeans.
