AN overheated pan caused a fire to break out in a flat today.
Emergency services were called to Westgate, Burnley, at around midnight.
The fire started after a pan was left on the cooker hob, however it was put out when the fire service arrival.
One casualty was taken to hospital after inhaling smoke, but crews said this was precautionary.
