A MAN was left concussed after being attacked by a gang of teenagers.
Detectives said the 52-year-old man from Blackburn went to confront the gang in St James Court about anti-social behaviour at 11.15pm on Friday.
Police said it was unclear how many teenagers were involved in the attack or whether any weapons were used. However they did confirm he suffered a head injury as a result of the attack.
Det Cons Neil Kane said: “We know that a number of youths were in the area at the time and need anyone who has seen them, or the indeed the incident itself, to speak to us.
“I would also appeal to the members of the group, if you witnessed this attack and it’s laying on your conscience, do the right thing and make contact.”
