Several roads are either clsoed or hazardous this morning due to snow and ice.
Hardknott Pass remains closed both ways due to ice between the Wrynose Pass and Austhwaite Brow. The road has been closed since Sunday afternoon due to adverse weather conditions.
Corney Fell Road is shut both ways due to iceb etween Duddon Bridge and Corney.
There are hazardous driving conditions due to snow on the A592 Kirkstone Pass between Townhead Brow and Road End.

And Birker Fell Road is shut both ways due to ice between Eskdale Green and Ulpha.
There is still a Met Office yellow weather warning for ice in place until 11am this morning for Cumbria and parts of north Lancashire.
