Police on night duty on Cavendish Street
AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a man was chased through Barrow’s town centre before being assaulted and robbed.
Police said the incident started at around 12.15am on Sunday (January 20) outside The Lounge and Cloud 9 on Dalkeith Street. The victim was then chased down Buccleuch Street and across Dalton Road by two men, before they assaulted him and stole a necklace.
The two men have been described as being in their mid-30s with dark hair.
