A family has donated a fantastic £2,375 to a Hospice.
Suleman Khonat’s family and friends had been collecting in The Mall, Blackburn, in the run-up to Christmas as part of their fundraising drive for the East Lancashire Hospice.
They visited the hospice to present a cheque to Dr Bailey for a whopping £2,375.68 - the amount raised on the day plus very kind donations from O2, Blackburn, GM Group, Lance Mason and Bank View Dentist.
Suleman said: “I am very pleased with the amount collected which is more than last year - thank you to all who donated.
“It is important that we collect for a local charity which goes a long way in helping to provide care when it’s needed.”
