COMMISSIONERS are seeking the views of people who use a NHS service.
East Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wants to hear from patients who use the Lower Limb Vascular service.
The nurse-led service helps people with the diagnosis and management of both venous (veins) and arterial (artery) problems in the lower legs . Patients may or may not have a leg ulceration.
Dr Santhosh Davis, integrated care lead at the CCG said: “Our overarching aim is to improve health and wellbeing outcomes and the quality of care for our population. We have a unique opportunity, in undertaking these service reviews to do so in partnership with patients and the public. By listening to people’s views about the lower limb vascular service we can use this information to develop and improve services which really do meet the needs of patients.
“We are asking people, about their experiences and views of the lower limb vascular service in a stakeholder engagement campaign called ‘Your Services, Your Say'."
