BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey was in a late night car smash - after covering Rovers' televised FA Cup clash with Newcastle.
The presenter said he only suffered 'bumps and bruises' after his car was involved in a road accident in Lincolnshire.
He said: "Rather eventful journey home from Blackburn last night.
"Thankfully only a few bumps and bruises. I just want to call out the Lincolnshire Police, the brilliant local fire service and the lovely family in East Heckington who got the kettle on. All great, kind folk."
The match finished 4-2 to Newcastle after Rovers took the tie to extra time.
TV replays showed that Newcastle's crucial third goal should have been ruled offside.
