A CARRIAGEWAY on the M65 will remain closed for 10 days as resurfacing is carried out.
Motorists will not be able to travel westbound between junctions four (Blackburn South, Darwen) and three (Blackburn West) between 9pm and 5am from Monday to Friday.
Highways England will put diversions in place between the two junctions, with works scheduled to end on January 21.
The motorway will be open as normal this weekend and the weekend of January 19 and 20.
A spokesman for Highways England said: "A resurfacing scheme on the westbound carriageway of the M65 started on Monday for approximately two weeks.
"The carriageway will be closed overnight from 9pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, between junctions four and three with a diversion in place.
"All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible."
