YOUTHS in a town centre have been getting their thrills by dangerously clinging on to the back of moving buses.
Work has now begun to identify the individuals responsible for grabbing hold of the rear for a free ride and 'thrills' as they leave the main station in Earby, police have said.
Officer Stephen Murphy said: "This is so unbelievably dangerous it hardly warrants words, however police in conjunction with town councillors are now using CCTV systems to identify these youths to hopefully prevent any serious injuries occurring.
"If you have any information to dates or times when you have witnessed this happening please let either Vera Cocker in the town council office or myself know and we will try to identify them from CCTV and take appropriate action."
