A GANG of men stole thousands of pounds worth of electronics after they used a samurai sword to break into a locker in a supermarket.
The four men escaped from Sainsbury's on Active Way in Burnley with three 50-inch Panasonic TVs, an electric sound bar and other items.
Police are now appealing for help and have published CCTV images of the men in a bid to identify them.
A spokesman said: "Around 10.45pm on December 15, four males approached Sainsbury’s in Active Way. The group broke into the rear of the store and used a samurai sword to break into a secure locker."
Police are unsure of the exact value of the stolen goods, but it is thought to be thousands of pounds.
Detective Constable Natasha Bennet said: "If you recognise them please come forward.”
