A HOMELESS man who was found collapsed in a Blackburn street remains in a critical condition, police have confirmed.
Officers are trying to find the next of kin of 48-year-old Craig Hornby, who was found unresponsive by a passer-by in Adelaide Terrace on November 30.
Mr Hornby was taken to Royal Preston Hospital but was in cardiac arrest while in the ambulance and remains in a critical condition.
Officers have investigated how Mr Hornby came to be collapsed in the street and have said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding it.
Since he was admitted Mr Hornby has had no visitors and police are appealing for help to trace any family members.
Inspector Rachel Higson said: “It’s desperately sad that Craig has had no-one come to see him since he was admitted, especially at this time of year.
“I would appeal to anyone who may be able to help us find Craig’s next of kin to get in touch with us.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 1429 of November 30.
