THIS is the moment a fire throwing performance artist drops his flaming baton during Blackburn’s festival of light.
The juggler laughed off his mistake and stayed cool, quickly picking up the baton from the ground.
No one was close to the performer when it happened, during the event on Saturday night.
Dozens of people turned out to support the dramatic event.
Braving the freezing rain, youngsters followed the procession – now in its seventh year – through the town centre.
