RIDERS who helped raise more than £1200 have been thanked by a cancer charity.
Rosemere Cancer Foundation has just announced the grand total from October's pleasure ride at Westmorland County Showground, Crooklands.
The 12-mile and 16-mile event on quiet lanes and bridleways was organised by the bridleway societies of Cumbria and north Lancashire, which have just given Rosemere an £800 cheque.
The charity also sold refreshments, merchandise and raffle tickets at the showground on the day, raising the total to £1,203.70.
