A magical mayoral market is giving charities a chance to promote and fundraise for their respective causes this Christmas.
During the Accrington Christmas lights switch on, Sarah Barton and Kimberley Whitehead of Hyndburn's mayoral charity committee are organising the event which will take place outside the market pavilion on Thursday November 29.
Various charity stalls will fill the space, as they fund-raise and promote for their causes with festive spirit. Fund-raising activities will include tombolas, fun games, bric-a-brac, and a Christmas walkway will be lit up.
Sarah Barton said: "We are hoping to create a magical Christmassy walkway through the outside Market Pavilion linking the new Market Square with Broadway. There will be a mixture of charity fundraising stalls, such as tombola's, games, crafts etc."
Charities wishing to enquire about a stall, should contact Ms Barton on 07412647168 or email hyndburnmayoralcharity@gmail.com.
