A FAN was taken ill during Rovers' game with Rotherham on Saturday.
The Blackburn supporter received medical attention at Ewood Park before being taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Fans reported seeing paramedics in the Ronnie Clayton Blackburn End stand.
One fan said: "I saw a Rovers fan in the Blackburn End.
"Paramedics surrounded him and then went down the steps with him on a stretcher."
A Rovers spokesman said: "A fan was taken ill.
"They received medical attention at the ground before being transferred to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "We were called at 3.18pm to the ground.
"Someone had been taken ill and went to Royal Blackburn Hospital by ambulance."
