A new ladies networking group has launched at Oswaldtwistle Mills.

Unique Ladies is organised by Dawn Roberts and gathers businesswomen from across East Lancs who want to share information about their own businesses or the businesses they represent.

Mrs Roberts said: "We are a welcoming and friendly group.

"Anyone working as a sole trader for example, can often feel isolated and lonely, so we provide a safe and relaxed platform for anyone wanting to make new contacts whether to expand their business portfolio or simply make new friends to meet up for coffee.

"There is no membership fee to pay and only a small fee for the meetings attended.

"Any female in business is welcome to join no matter how big or small the organisation."

The group meets on the final Friday of every month.
