A STORM will continue to pass the eastern part of the county today.
Storm Callum, the third named weather front of the season, hit East Lancashire yesterday with high winds and torrential rain.
The stormy weather is set to continue today with rain scattered across much of the region this morning.
A Met Office spokesman said it will be a windy and wet day, especially in south East Lancashire, with temperatures potentially reaching as high as 21 degrees.
Rain is expected to ease across most parts of the county overnight with temperatures set to be as low as nine degrees.
The Met Office predicts rain will clear tomorrow with brighter skies arriving in the afternoon.
