A CRASH which saw a motorcycle rider suffer serious injuries has sparked a police appeal.
The collision involving a Suzuki GSF and Skoda Octavia private hire taxi happened at about 7.55am yesterday (Tuesday).
It caused the 25-year-old motorcycle rider to fall from the vehicle and suffer injuries to his pelvis.
He was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash-cam footage to contact them.
Sgt Marc Glass, of the road policing unit, said: “We are trying to establish the circumstances of this collision and ask anyone who witnessed it, or has dash-cam footage, to please get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting log 243 of August 7.
