Insp Mark Gee

I am the Neighbourhood Policing Team Inspector for the Richmondshire Area, this is an area of over 500 square miles and comprises of the main towns of Richmond, Catterick, Catterick Garrison, Leyburn and as far out as Hawes in the Upper Dales.
I am proud to lead a dedicated neighbourhood team who seek to serve the local community and address their issues and concerns.

I am currently the Richmond Rural Beat Manager & Rural Wildlife Officer, I have 12 years Police Service with NYP and prior to this I was a Police Community Support Officer for 2 years with NYP. My current role involves me working closely with the local farming community and residents in the rural areas of Richmondshire. I regularly patrol with volunteers of the Richmonshire Rural Border Watch.

Constable Gary Hankin

I am the Beat Manager for Richmond Town, I have 15 years police experience all with North Yorkshire Police. I'm born and bred in the Richmondshire area and passionate about the area in which we all live.
My current role as a beat officer involves me working closely with partner agencies to get the best results. You will see out and about on foot in Richmond Town Centre, don't be afraid to come and speak.

I am the Richmond Town Police Community Support Officer, I joined North Yorkshire Police in September 2016. Prior to this I worked at Durham Tess Valley Airport as an Air Traffic Controller assistant.

PSCO Nicole Randall

Joining the Police Service has always been my ambition, when I left school I studied the Uniformed Public Services at college and was also a Police Cadet with Lancashire Constabulary. I then worked as a Custody Officer at HMP Highpoint and HMYOI Hindley I started my career with North Yorkshire Police as a typist and Secretarial Support Officer and in 2015 I joined NYP Special Constabulary and was based in Richmond. I am looking forward to the challenges of being a PCSO, I will be covering the villages surrounding Richmond Town area including Brompton on Swale, Middleton Tyas and Barton.

PCSO Helenor Gwatkin

I am PCSO Helenor Gwatkin 3669, and I joined the force in February 2017. I have a big passion to protect my community.

Since joining I have taken on additional responsibilities - I am now the Richmond Fraud Ambassador and a trained Domestic Abuse Officer. Both these additional roles sit primarily within safeguarding and raising awareness.

PCSO Helen Sutherland

I started my role as PCSO in January 2017, prior to this I worked for in local government for 13 years, dealing with vulnerable members of the community. As part of my role as PCSO I am responsible for engaging with the rural communities around Richmond. The role is varied and no two days are ever the same but my main priorities are to offer reassurance, crime prevention advice and a point of contact for the residents in the rural community.

I am the Northern Dales Beat Manager and Wildlife Crime Officer, I have 26 years Police Service with NYP. I have carried out various roles including Response & Reassurance, Auto Crime Team Officer and Community Officer all within the Hambleton & Richmonshire area. My current role involves working closely with the rural community and partner agencies dealing with safeguarding and problem solving issues. I also regularly patrol with the volunteers Dales Watch.

Sergeant Dave Anderson

Sergeant Dave Anderson is the officer in charge of the neighbourhood policing team on the garrison.
Dave studied law at Sheffield and joined South Yorkshire Police after graduating. He transferred to North Yorkshire in 2012.
Dave has worked in a variety of policing roles including both response and neighbourhoods prior to taking on his current role as part of the Richmondshire team at Catterick.

PC Sean Godfrey

I am the Beat Manager for Catterick Garrison / Hipswell and have served as a police officer for 33 years.
The main focus of my role is to provide a high standard of police service to the community.
Duties that I perform include army liaison, school liaison and working with partner agencies.
I am the Operational Commander for Project Servator within Richmondshire and I am also a Protest Liaison Officer.

PCSO Di Smith

I am PCSO 3521 Di Smith, I have been in service for 14 years. I have been working from Catterick Garrison Police Station for over 12 years of my service. For 9 years I was responsible for Colburn, now I have the responsibility of Catterick Rural Areas, covering Hunton, Hornby Castle, Tunstall and Brough St Giles.
My primary role is to provide a visible presence to help ensure that the whole community feels safe. My specific areas of responsibility include Domestic Violence Support, which I have been doing for the last 3 years. I support the victims of Domestic Violence, I encourage people to move on in their lives and assist with that process. Recently I have been trained in Behaviour Detection, which is part of a new project called Servator, which is a disruptive input to Counter Terrorism.
