PADIHAM drama graduate Adam Calvert has formed a brand new theatre company to "destigmatise" theatre for the working classes of East Lancashire.
Along with pals from Langho, Accrington, Padiham, Oswaldtwistle and Burnley, 21-year-old Adam has created the company called Existential Carousel Theatre.
The company's first production What Ghosts Exist Behind Those Attic Walls will be performed in Clitheroe on September 23.
The play revolves around the story of a family trying to cope with the loss of a father, made all the more difficult when they realise the horrendous secret he has kept hidden for more than 30 years.
Adam said: "The aim of our company is to create new and exciting works of theatre for the people of East Lancashire that help to destigmatise theatre for the working classes by keeping entrance prices low and making our work relevant to their lives."
